What this site collects,
in plain terms: nothing.

SHOT Learning is built so nothing you write here reaches SHOT. This notice explains what that means under UK GDPR, and who to contact if you have questions.

Who controls this site

SHOT Clubhouse Limited, company number 16350767, registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, England and Wales, is the data controller for learning.shotclubhouse.com. Contact contact@shotclubhouse.com with any question about this notice or your data.

No cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts of any kind.

What this site saves, and where

Your lesson progress, answers, reflections and practical plan are saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device. If you enter your name for a certificate, it stays there too. None of this is sent to SHOT, to any SHOT server, or to a learner database: SHOT Clubhouse has no record of it and cannot see it.

Plan around one person you coach, or use a clearly fictional case if you do not yet coach someone. Don't enter anyone's name, contact details or other identifying information into your notes or plan.

Lawful basis

Because SHOT does not collect or process this content, no lawful basis is needed for it under UK GDPR: SHOT is not processing it. The only personal data SHOT's processors handle is described below, under legitimate interests in running and securing the site.

Hosting and third parties

GitHub Pages hosts this site and logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes; read GitHub's hosting information. Two images on the homepage load from Cloudinary, which receives the requesting IP address and browser details as part of serving the image, in the same way any image host does. Neither service receives anything you type into a course.

How long this is kept

Your saved progress stays in your browser until you clear it, clear your browser's site data, or switch device or browser. SHOT holds no copy and cannot delete it for you: clearing your own browser storage is the way to remove it.

Your rights, and how to complain

Because SHOT holds no personal data from your course activity, there is nothing for SHOT to give you, correct or erase on request; deleting your browser's site data does that directly. For the hosting log data described above, or any other question, contact contact@shotclubhouse.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Links to SHOT Clubhouse or other websites open services with their own privacy arrangements. Completing a course here does not create a Clubhouse account or share your learning record with it.
